KAHC 2009-10 Week 17 Update

Another good week for the Club apart from two games being postponed due to adverse weather in the Ashford area. The men's 1s won their 6-pointer against fellow promotion contenders Folkstone in an entertaining, high octane match, the lead changing 3 times before the Old Boys settled it early in the second half. The men's 3s kept their own tilt at the title with a thumping win at Holcombe and will be hoping to go top again with a win over league leaders Gillingham this weekend. The 4s and ladies 2s both scored good wins in their friendlies:

In other news:

1. Given that most teams are at home this week and the men's 1s and 4s are generally good for it, suggest that we try to get some beers in Saturday evening for those available. I will liaise with the captains to determine a suitable venue.

2. End of Season Dinner - still a few places left and some usual suspects yet to sign up. Answers on a postcard to Sherradan please.

3. Vestra Wealth tops - your captains should take delivery this week of their supply of these FREE tops. The idea behind this was to get a degree of uniformity pre-match for each squad. Please can you make sure they are worn. There is no excuse.

That’s all from me folks. Excellent work so far this season. With only a few weeks to go, would be good to finish off the job with a series of resounding wins.

Good luck!
